Will write more about my experience at the Green Party Nominating Convention in Baltimore, MD, but for now, you can watch it live:
Watch live streaming video from greenpartyus at livestream.com
You can also catch it on C-SPAN, and I’m very excited that Democracy NOW! has based their show out of Baltimore to cover the Green Party convention in depth.

In the first 10 seconds of the video Jill Stein asks Cheri Honkala to run for VP ????
Incase any of you were wondering, Cheri Honkala was the girl running for Sherriff of Phili => http://www.greenmassgroup.com/…
You may remember me pointing out to the rest of the Greens on this board that she has no law enforcement experience and no experience in corrections. Cheri does joke about the fact that she was arrested over 200 times though . . .
This is why Jill Stein only pulls in 3% of the vote (in a good year). She’s just not a serious contender.

Would have been banner headlines had it occurred at either of the major conventions, but I’m unable to find anything more about it (so maybe sometimes the lack of coverage is a good thing?)…
“Saturday’s convention at downtown Holiday Inn quickly became a battleground when Barr’s delegation coordinator, national party co-chair Farheen Hakeem, made what some considered racist accusations against several party members in a speech.”

He’s at the podium speaking in generalities so obscure that I don’t even know what he’s talking about. He fades in and out … first with “the Problem” here he’s pretty clear … than he offers his solution and he’s right back to “blah blah land” …
“If the system fails it falls in the hands of the Republicans” “If the system breaks to the left WE will be unprepaired to take over” – Gar Alperovitz
I’m going to look for this ass hole on youtube in 24 hours because I really want to know what the hell he’s talking about.
