The Boston Herald reports that far-right zealot Sarah Palin is coming to Boston on April 14, 10AM at Boston Commons (Parkman Bandstand) to stir the pot at a tea party. What a slap in the face for the home of the REAL tea party! Any party crashers in the house?

Former GOP vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin is gearing up to ride the Tea Party Express into the bluest state in the nation as the grassroots organization prepares to kick off its nationwide tour in Nevada this weekend.
The former Alaska governor will be the main attraction at Saturday’s rally in Democratic Majority Leader Harry Reid’s hometown of Searchlight, Nevada. Palin also plans to star at the Hub rally when the Tea Party Express descends on Boston April 14.
Mark Williams, a Bay State native and chairman of the Tea Party Express, said John McCain’s former running mate is “very excited” to join the tour and visit Massachusetts.
“She’ll have a blast,” Williams said of Palin’s planned trip to the Bay State. “Despite what the rest of the planet thinks about Massachusetts, it’s a blue-collar, hard-working, working-stiff, family-values state.”
Williams said Palin will “resonate” in communities such as Lowell, Lawrence, Fall River, Attleboro and Taunton, “where people work real, old-fashioned job jobs” and in parts of western Massachusetts where “there hasn’t been a job since the 19th century.”
“She’s a great touchstone and a great symbol for what this movement is about,” added Williams, a former executive producer for news talk radio station WRKO-AM (680). “Talk about your basic soccer mom who made it big.”
Williams, who grew up in Attleboro, said he’s “tickled pink” to have Palin visit his home state. The exact location of her Boston visit hasn’t been determined, he said.
The tour, which ends in Washington, D.C., on April 15, includes three big tour buses, three music acts and a show boasting about 30 people, including motivational and local speakers.
Chicago author John M. O’Hara, who grew up in the Bay State and recently wrote, “A New American Tea Party,” predicted that passage of the Democrats’ health-care overhaul would stoke interest in the nascent movement of activists, bolstering the rallies scheduled to start this weekend. He cautioned against counting out the activists because they were unable to stop the health-care package from becoming law.
“If legislators thought the town hall protests and tea party protests of the last year developed into a grassroots upsurge, they ain’t seen nothing yet,” O’Hara said. “Over the past year you’ve seen a real civic reawakening. People are realizing they need to hold politicians of all political stripes accountable for their actions.”
