    they have ALSO refused to stand on fundamental democratic principle, that all ballot-qualified candidates should be able to participate in debates, regardless of their campaign warchests or whatever other arbitrary criteria might be used to squash their voices.

    Patrick, Baker, and Cahill have participated in 3 radio debates, and at least one other public debate, which have excluded the one candidate who refuses to take corporate money for her campaign — Green-Rainbow Party candidate Jill Stein. And Bump and Connaughton have appeared in two televised debates that exclude their Green-Rainbow Party opponent for auditor, Nat Fortune.

    Funny how people pretending to be good-government politicians can’t even get the fundamentals of our democratic process right, and clearly condone the corrosive impact that money has on our political system and government.

    I think it’s time for the voters of Massachusetts to throw the duopoly out and put Jim Henderson, Nat Fortune, Jill Stein, and Rick Purcell into office.
